Parrot with nearly 1000 Word Vocabulary / Possibly Some Telepathy

Dang, this is some strange shit: The BBC is reporting there is a parrot with a 950 word vocabulary that is able to create sentences and even shows a sense of humor. Also of strangeness is that the parrot was showing signs of telepathy. The article says:

"In an experiment, the bird and his owner were put in separate rooms and filmed as the artist opened random envelopes containing picture cards.

Analysis showed the parrot had used appropriate keywords three times more often than would be likely by chance."

Very odd. I wish I had a parrot like that.
